The Advanced Dental Journal is an open-source, peer-reviewed dental journal published by the Faculty of Dentistry, Cairo University and hosted by the Egyptian Knowledge Bank. The journal aims to provide readers with high-quality research with a solid evidence-based background. The Advanced Dental Journal is dedicated to promoting novel scientific achievements in the field of dentistry. Authors worldwide are invited to submit their manuscripts.

The Journal accepts original research, case studies, editorials, letters to the editor, perspectives, Images in Dentistry and reviews. The submitted manuscripts are subject to meticulous peer review. The Journal accepts research in the following specialties: Conservative Dentistry, Dental Materials, Endodontics, Gerodontology, Implantology, Oral Histology, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, Oral and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics, Oral Radiology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics, Pedodontics, Periodontology and Dental Education. The journal does not impose an “author-pays” model, thus there are no submission fees or article processing charges.
